Jared Buchansky has been in the High End Eyewear Industry for the past 19 Years. Jared has worked with the top eyewear companies in the world, both as an optician & as a distributor. He has also had a tremendous amount of influence in the design aspect of several of the collections he has worked with. Jared became an optician for several years before he was promoted to Wholesale Distributor for the East Coast for two major eye-wear brands. Buchansky was responsible for the launch of a ground breaking collection in the East Coast.

After several years, Jared was then recruited by Oliver Peoples to handle all Southeastern US Distribution. He worked there for close to 7 years and was ultra successful in the growth and distribution for all 3 brands housed under the Oliver Peoples umbrella, which consisted of Oliver Peoples, Paul Smith, and the launch of Mosley Tribes Sunglasses. After the sale of the company to Oakley, Jared was then recruited by Barton Perreira to handle the launch for all of Eastern North America, where he was there for almost 3 years. He then took the talents he acquired over the years of working at the best eyewear companies and founded one of the hottest eyewear boutiques called The Eye Shoppe. Jared opened up 2 locations; one being in the affluent area of Freehold, NJ and the other in the trendy town of New Hope, PA.

After a few years, Jared took his eyewear experience and knowledge of fashion, and partnered with reality superstar Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. Together they created one of the world's coolest and fashion forward Sunglass Collections called "The Situation" Limited Edition Sunglasses. With the instant success of The Jersey Shore, Michael quickly emerged as a trendsetting pop culture icon. His style and fashion sense quickly caught on, and it soon became evident that a high end pair of sunglasses completed the look.
